The
cottage was built on the waterfront of this 5 acre property in 1969.
Renters and guests used it until 2005. In 2005 major renovations and
upgrades were done. 2007 will be the first summer season since
renovations were completed.
The things liked best were different for every family. The comments that stand out are. Peaceful, relaxing, like a sanctuary, like being on an estate, beach exploring, island hiking, frisbee golf, golf, fishing, getting crabs/prawns/shrimp, digging clams, bringing a row boat and rowing in the bay, great place to launch a kayak, lots of birds and wildlife, lots of artisan products and simply being on the deck looking at the view sipping the suds having a barbeque. In winter on a dreary day reading a book, or watching a movie from the collection on site.

WE WELCOME OBSERVATIONS AND NOTES FROM OUR GUESTS
I stayed on Pender Island at a cabin (while 5 mths pregnant by the way...) and had the time of my life!! It was just the beginning of summer and we went crabbing and relaxed on a sailboat, went out for dinner at this quaint pub with a great view and even greater food!! We also checked out the frisbee golf (which they say is the best course in North America!!)...and it was so much fun!! The views, the hiking, the laid back atmosphere and people were just phenominal!! I also enjoyed the shopping in the little stores set up in "town". The bakery by the way, has the BEST freshly baked cinnamon rolls you've ever tasted!! Bar none!! Anyway, I just wanted to thank Bill and Diane for a great vacation getaway/hideaway....It was just what I needed!!

Logans Hideaway is a relaxing retreat with views that put you at peace. It
was a great escape for my family, we enjoyed the private setting and access to
the beach where our girls could play while we got a chance to relax. My family
and I will definately be back to explore more of the island on our next journey.
I plan to send my inlaws there for their anniversary so they can have a nice
break and perhaps do some painting of the gorgeous scenery.

Why is it that in Alberta when the sun sets, it
simply goes down but from your patio when the sun sets it lights up the western
skies with the most brilliant colors imaginable?
What an amazing hideaway. We enjoyed the quiet beach, the apples & plums, clamming & catching crabs, walking around the small island during low tides, night walks back from the ferry, wonderful smells ( cedar, scotch broom blooms, lemon balm & roses) Kayaking & seeing seals & especially the wonderful hospitality of Bill & Diane ( including great apple & blueberry crisp)

What joy! To view the sunsets, dawdle on the beach, luxuriate in the hot tub and know that there really isn't anything else I should be doing. Andy & I love this place and we will absolutely return to Logan's Hideaway!

What an absolutely fabulous hideaway. This is a very calming and soothing place. We come from a fast paced fast growing city..... Just to watch the ships go by while sitting on the couch is priceless. This is my first time to the island.... We will definetly be back. Time to go have a glass of Merlot and absorb this beautiful view. Cheers to everyone!

Thank you very much for sharing this absolutely wonderful piece of earth with us and your hospitality. We all loved being here playing on the lawn, on the beach, around the house and enjoying the beautiful view. We also very much liked Pender Island with it's beautiful hiking trails (just the right distance for kids)....

Thank you for the wonderful hospitality. This is a beautiful place, that has so many special spots to explore. We loved combing the beach and looking for the friendly otter that came to the bay each evening. Not to mention the sunsets that were amazing. The bike rides up the hill were a favorite of Jessica's along with all the games we played. Thank you for a very relaxing and fun filled family holiday. WE hope to be back again soon.

Thank you for sharing your little piece of paradise with us. There were many highlights during our stay here. The incredible views, the sunsets, the regular visits from numerous deer, daily visits from "H" and evening soaks in the hot tub. We also appreciated the personal touches like the fresh loaf of bread and jar of homemade jam that greeted us upon arrival. We loved the comfortable bed, the sumptuos bath robes and your fine hospitality and sense of humour! We shall certainly be recommending your place to friends.

The views were the best either of us have ever experienced and the cottage location is so wonderful that we looked forward to coming home every evening.
